HAILSHAM FARMERS' PRODUCE & CRAFT MARKET
On SATURDAY, 11th APRIL

Our next market is being held at the Easter weekend Saturday 11 April, from 9.00am to 12.30pm, and we will be holding an Easter Bonnet Competition on the day. There will be gifts for all entrants, and prizes for the winners of the three age groups, 0 to 5, 6 to 12 and 13 to adult, so come along with your creations for judging at 11.00am at the Information Stand.
On the day we will be promoting a wide range of year-round produce such as honey and wax products, beef, pork, chicken, game, cakes, free range eggs, Organic milk, as well as seasonal items such as Spring lamb, fruit and vegetables, and a wide range of plants for your flower borders and vegetable gardens.
At Farmers’ Markets genuine bargains are promoted by the producers on a voluntary basis with discounts and offers passed on direct to the customers, thus cutting out the middle man and enabling all profits to be ploughed back solely into their own businesses. Keeping to the Spring and Easter theme, we will be displaying young chicks at the Information Stand kindly donated by our Chairman Michael Vine of Ersham Farm, Hailsham.
During the Spring and Summer seasons, if the weather is favourable, our Crafts section will be arranged outside, so come along and browse amongst the varied stalls and displays. As usual Di Hickman and her staff will be opening the Market Cafe at 8.00am for hot and cold food and drinks, freshly made to order.
We are always keen to hear from anyone wanting to either start up a
new business, or an existing enterprise looking for an alternative outlet.
Farmers’ Markets are a unique and cost-effective way or promoting your
goods, so for more information or to book a stall please
contact the Organiser Janet Dann Tel. 01323 833359
or email janet@highlea.demon.co.uk.
