CATTLE (31 ) Auctioneer: Roger Waters

All qualities, all ages, all sorts! and a very good trade. Julian Mockford’s homebred Limousin just over two years a star at 139.5p and nearly £930! but Dick Bradford on behalf of St. Georges Retreat still on glory trail with his lightweight Limousin heifer at 142.5p. John and Mary Jones have a trio of Limousin cross heifers at 135p, 130.5p, 130p, nothing wrong with that. Finished FABBL Continental cross steers and heifers all 129.5p plus. Best of the Natives - Sussex cross heifers again from Julian Mockford 124p.

Back in business entry wise with forty calves all selling well. Top call to a reared Simmental cross steer, 12 weeks £267. Younger calves, 10/20 days - Angus cross bulls £130, £120, £119, £112, £100, etc. and heifers £78, £61, £56 twice, etc. Charolais cross bull £100, Hereford cross £107.

Three pens of store pigs, proper bred outside reared runners out of Kent £25, £24.50, etc. One pen of weaners plus six young white in-pig sows, due with their third/fourth litter and Landrace boar entered for next week.
