Held On Second Saturday In Every Month
9.00 ~ 12.30 At Hailsham Cattle Market
At the April Farmers’ Market we will be holding a Spring Hat Competition on the day at 11.00am. Just turn up with your amazing creations at the Information Stand where you will be judged by our Crafts stallholders. Gift token prizes will be given to the winners of the two age groups, 0 to 7 and 8 and over. Hopefully the weather will be warm and bright, adding to the colourful array of hats.
We are very pleased to welcome four new stallholders selling fresh fish, homemade cakes, and olives, tomatoes and garlic in the food section, along with photographic greetings cards in the Crafts section. Our regular producers will be selling fresh meat and game, honey and wax products, free range eggs, Organic milk, juicy pies, fresh vegetables and fruit and a wide variety of pot-grown plants and Spring seedlings for the vegetable patch, just to mention a few. Easy and accessable parking and the market cafe is open all morning.
