All continuing in the fast lane, tremendous interest in all grades whether finished or to feed on. Best of the Friesian Holstein culls 110p, 109.5p etc., lean steaking cows just under 100p. Medium fleshed older beef cross 113p. Cows to feed and graze the summer all in the 110p/120p price range. Best of the beef cross steers 30/48 mos some finished some to feed 152p, 148p, 144p, 140p twice.
Next Wednesday, 15th April - to be included in this market - Three Pedigree Sussex cows, to be sold immediately prior to the cull cows and overage beef - not been with the bull since calving last year - potential breeders. Boxted Lock, Gestlingmead & Lanolee breeding, born ‘02/’04.
