Easter Show of Prime Cattle - Just a bit of fun - Thank you to all those that took part - good rewards for all - breathtaking trade for the quality cattle. Commercial finished steers break the £1,000 barrier, eight over 140p per kilo and eight over 130p per kilo. All very satisfactory - proving if the quality is there the price is there to match it. Nearly sixty calves at Hailsham - good to see some part reared calves forward, some youngsters not the demand of seven days ago but not the quality either.
