JOHN WESTGATE
It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the sudden death of John Westgate of Old Marshfoot Farm, Hailsham in the early hours of Friday, 13th March.
His passing has come as a huge shock to all who knew him, and indeed, he spent his last afternoon finishing off digging his beloved garden which pleased him immensely. He will be sorely missed by all of us here at Hailsham, very much part of the scene around the store cattle ring and always very selective of what he bought. John had an eye for the best and made every effort to buy them -
a great believer in supporting the local market.
A Celebration of Life Service
will be held at HELLINGLY CHURCH
on THURSDAY, 26th MARCH at 12 noon
