Late hay, harvest, seasonal work depleting entry, very short once again. Ronnie Kemp finds time to bring three Limousin cross homebred cattle, forward steers 161p & 160p, heifers 156p. Andrew Firrell’s Sussex cross to 148p, not enough cattle to satisfy buyer requirement, some orders unfulfilled.

Similar entry to last week, strength and depth to the trade. David Kemp’s Blonde cows 130p and 128p, best of the Friesians 110p and 100p, plain cows with weight 87.5p. Dexter to 75p and £273.75.
Overage beef rock solid demand. Chris Berry’s has Belgian Blue cross steers to 135p, quite clearly cattle are short and customers are keen.
