Encouraging entry with a trade to match, seven cattle changing hands between 140/150p. Bob and Mike Sherwood’s Limousin cross steer breaks the 150p barrier. Brian Foster’s Limousin cross best of the heifers 144p with Julian Mockford’s homebred Limousin cross just 4p behind. Young South Devon bull from Paul Collinson to 127p. Peter Parkes has a Hereford x Friesian steer close to £800. All in all a very good trade. Please let us know what you are bringing next week

Quite exceptional for all cull cows and overage beef. 20 head over £1 per kilo, Bob and Mike Sherwood’s Limousin cross cow and Pat Woodley’s Charolais cross cow share top spot at 115p. Well fleshed Continental cross cows all in the 104p to 115p price range. Lean Simmental cross 93p. Fat native bred cows 95p, South Devon to 112.5p. Best of the Friesian Holstein cows 102p. Heavyweight Holstein heifers with age 109p and gross £975! Keep them coming.
