Still very short and all keen to buy. Ronnie Kemp leads the way once again with his homebred Limousin cross heifer to 160p and steers to 159p. John Down has Sussex steers to 153.5p and 150p. More needed to fulfil purchasers orders.

Only eleven, many more could have been sold to good advantage. Purebred Charolais from Mark and John Cornwell 118p and £1,014. Best of the Friesian Holsteins - heavyweight lean steakers 90p and plain black and whites 84p. Overage beef continue to sell very well. Lightweight Longhorn steers 134p and lightweight Angus cross heifer 127.5p.
