Still very short - an improvement on the week - more could have been sold to advantage. Brian Foster’s best – his Limousin cross heifer to 158p with Richard Russell’s Limousin steer to 150p. Very few heavyweight cattle on offer.
Malcolm Neville’s Hereford steer grosses nearly £900 and Adam Cheesmur’s Hereford heifer well received at 135.5p. Looking for more cattle next week.

Little and good - not the biggest of store sales but a lot of customers
looking for cattle and some going away empty handed.
British summer weather keeps the fields green and undergrazed.
A few BREEDING STOCK -
